Retail & Fulfillment Operations Manager

About Broomfitters Broomfitters is the fastest growing curling supplier in the U.S. and the home of Good Curling Gear™. We're expanding to the Twin Cities market to better service Midwest area curlers, and we need someone who wants to join our rapidly growing curling company!

Position Overview We're seeking a passionate curling enthusiast to manage our Twin Cities retail operations and fulfillment center. This role combines hands-on retail management, customer service excellence, and operational efficiency in a dynamic, growing environment.

Key Responsibilities

Retail & Customer Experience

• Manage day-to-day retail operations at our Twin Cities location
• Conduct in-person equipment consultations and customer appointments
• Provide expert guidance on curling equipment selection for beginners through competitive players
• Handle customer inquiries via phone and email with professionalism and expertise

Fulfillment & Operations

• Oversee warehouse operations and order fulfillment processes
• Maintain organized, clean, and efficient retail space and warehouse areas
• Manage inventory levels
• Coordinate and allow for speedy turnarounds and restock for our mobile units
• Handle receiving and inventory duties
• Ensure timely and accurate order processing and shipping

Required Qualifications

• Extensive curling knowledge - ability to discuss equipment, techniques, and gear recommendations for all skill levels
• Strong communication skills and customer service orientation
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
• Physical ability to lift and move curling equipment

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous retail experience, especially in sporting goods or specialty equipment
• Warehouse or fulfillment operations experience
• Experience with inventory management systems
• Active participation in curling community (league play, competitions, etc.)
