Join Brooklyn Curling in promoting the sport of curling on the streets of New York City!
As a Public Space Programming partner, we bring our portable Street Curling rink to Open Streets and NYC DOT events around the five boroughs.
As a Public Space Programming partner, we bring our portable Street Curling rink to Open Streets and NYC DOT events around the five boroughs.
We're looking to build a roster of folks who are able to operate and host Street Curling events throughout the spring, summer and fall.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of the sport of curling
- Friendly and inviting attitude and willingness to engage the public
- Able to lift 50 pounds
- Ability to arrive on time and commit to events in advance
- Prior curling club or recreation facility experience is a plus!
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: Ad hoc, dependent on Brooklyn Curling's Street Curling eventsl schedule
Location: Varies, typically within New York City. Events are typically outdoors in fair weather
