The Clive Curling Rink is seeking a Caretaker to oversee installation and maintenance of curling ice for the season, oversee ice removal at season end, and maintain the ice plant and rink equipment.
Duties
- Opening the rink and preparing ice for regular curling, rentals, and bonspiels
- Scheduling ice rentals and overseeing renters
- Cleaning of lobby, washrooms, curling area, and walkways
- Clearing ice and snow from the rink entrance
- Periodic inspection of the building and ice plant
- Willing to take an Ice Makers course if needed
