Starting in the fall of 2026, the Oliver Curling Club β located in the beautiful south Okanagan Valley β is seeking an Ice Technician.
Responsibilities include ice installation in mid-September and the care and maintenance of the playing surfaces throughout the season, which runs from early October to mid/late March. The club is a four-sheet curling facility hosting day and evening draws Monday to Friday and several bonspiels throughout the season.
Applicants should have curling ice-making and maintenance experience. A Level 1 Curling Ice Technician Certificate is an asset, though consideration will be given to those with curling experience; training will be available. This is a contract position, with remuneration based on experience and certificates.
