About Broomfitters

Broomfitters sells curling equipment (shoes, brooms, grippers, sliders, apparel and replacement parts) to curlers, clubs and ice makers across the U.S.

We acquired Dakota Curling Supplies in 2025, and our Burnsville flagship store and warehouse is where curlers come to get fitted and where many of our online orders ship from.

We're a small team, so everyone pitches in. Our busiest stretch runs from the start of the season through the winter, peaking in December.

The role

We're hiring a part-time, seasonal Warehouse & Fulfillment Assistant for our Burnsville warehouse, running from November through about March. You'll keep online orders moving: picking, packing and shipping them out the door accurately and on time, and keeping the warehouse organized.

No curling knowledge needed. If you like orderly shelves and a clean packing station, you'll fit right in.

What you'll do

  • Pick, pack and label online orders for the daily UPS pickup
  • Pack brooms and other long items in their custom boxes
  • Receive and unpack supplier shipments, check them against packing lists, and put stock away
  • Count inventory and flag shortages or damaged items
  • Keep shelves, bins and the packing station organized and stocked with supplies

What we're looking for

Required

  • Reliable and on time
  • Careful with details: the right item, in the right box, to the right address
  • Comfortable learning simple software (shipping labels, inventory)
  • Able to stand for a full shift and lift and carry boxes up to 50 lb

Nice to have

  • Warehouse, shipping or packing experience
  • Familiarity with curling equipment

Schedule, pay and benefits

  • Pay: $15–$20 per hour, depending on experience
  • Hours: Part-time, 15–20 hours a week, mostly weekdays before the daily UPS pickup
  • Season: November through about March
  • Location: Burnsville, MN (on-site)
  • Paid: Semi-monthly, by direct deposit
  • Benefits: Earned sick and safe time and Minnesota Paid Leave, as state law provides
