The Peterborough Curling Club (PCC) is now accepting applications for Senior Ice Technician for the 2026/27 season and beyond. Reporting to the Ice Director, the Senior Ice Technician is responsible for installing, maintaining, and removing 6 sheets of curling ice and operating all ice-making equipment safely and effectively for the entire curling season.
The PCC has over 500 members, schedules up to 25 weekly draws, and hosts several annual weekend bonspiels. The Club is fully accessible and has one of the largest sections of wheelchair curlers in the province, along with a successful junior program and growing Learn to Curl program.
Term & Compensation
Salaried position from September 21, 2026 to April 18, 2027, renewable annually. $9,000β$13,000 per sheet, based on experience and qualifications. The Club is also prepared to consider a Contract for Ice Making Services.
